Thomas Mawson centennial of first visit

It was a hundred years ago on April 9, 1912 that English town planner and landscape architect spoke to a meeting of the Canadian Club in Calgary during a cross-Canada tour. After speaking here a second time, he was commissioned to do a plan for the booming young City.
