Inglewood bridges at risk

Postby Admin » Mon Feb 11, 2013 6:10 pm

Two historic landmark steel bridges in the community of Inglewood, at the west entrance to the community on 9th Ave across the Elbow river, and the "zoo bridge" at 12th street are both recommended for replacement in the next 3-5 years based on info from City of Calgary Lifecycle and Asset Management literature. Plans are being explored for re-purposing as ped/cycle bridges in the area, or possibly incorporation of elements in any replacement bridge.
