The 1891 mansion of pioneer businessman and senator Sir James Lougheed is the starting point of a walking tour of the historic Beltline district. Once alone on the prairie, the sandstone landmark became the centre of a fashionable residential area, lately transformed into an urban neighbourhood where heritage mingles with high-rises. The 90 minute tour includes admission to the house. Tours begin at 1:00 pm at the Lougheed House, 707 - 13 Ave SW. $8.50 adults, $6.50 Seniors and Students.
