The Federation of Calgary Communities is publishing a 50th Anniversary Magazine and is seeking to fill it with stories, photos, and memories from the public. The Federation is the support group for 147 community associations, the oldest of which date back to the 30s.
The Federation is hosting "Decades Conversations" - discussion groups to gather memories and stories of community life in Calgary beginning on May 2 with the 1930s, and running through to the end of June. They are seeking individuals and groups to participate, and can schedule one-on-one conversations too, or do special visits to seniors centres, etc.
Please see the poster at the link. If you can contribute, or can find people who can, please be in touch!
