The Alberta government has released the recommendations of its Regional Advisory Council for the South Saskatchewan Regional Plan. The plan covers most of southern Alberta and the Bow and Oldman River Basins, including the Calgary, Lethbridge, and Medicine Hat regions.
An online workbook has been promised for the end of April and public input on the RAC recommendations are supposed to begin in the Fall.
The Regional Plan is a “high-level” documents that will guide planning by the Province and municipalities. As a result, it could be very influential.
