Derailed Development: Calgary and the CPR 1962-64

Tuesday January 29, 7:30 pm at Fort Calgary, Burnswest Theatre. FREE.

The scope of the plan grew to include a proposal of rerouting or removing the railway tracks from the downtown area and reshaping much of Calgary's urban core. What could have derailed such a grand scheme?
