The busy Bowness Historical Society is working on a new book, "Bowness - Then and Now", a follow-up to its monster-seller "Bowness: Our Village in the Valley". They are also working on a Bowness Monument project, as well as producing their regular newsletter of Bowness history, the Bowness Beacon.
