WHAT IS A HISTORIC RESOURCE AND WHO DECIDES?

While still young, Calgary is rich in special places, parks, buildings, streets and neighbourhoods. The Calgary Heritage Authority is responsible for Calgary's Inventory of Potential Heritage Sites which identifies and documents some of Calgary's special places as historic resources.

This is an opportunity to learn about this process and hear about the proposed improvements to the existing system. The Calgary Heritage Authority, City Heritage staff and our consulting team will be there to present this information which includes a draft evaluation handbook and workshop for general use.

At this session you will also hear about the Parkdale Community Association’s efforts to identify, codify and protect community assets with potential heritage value.

Please join us at the
Parkdale Community Association (Main Hall)
3512 5th Avenue NW
on April 19th at 7pm for the next
Community Heritage Roundtable Meeting.

An RSVP by April 17 is appreciated: registration@calgarycommunities.com, Phone 244-4111
